Meet the Staff

Dr. Jarom John is a Idaho native, 

He graduated from the University of Maryland in 2007. 

He is married to Jamie, they share seven children, Six girls and one boy!

Dr. John enjoys the outdoors, golfing, fishing  and hiking with his family and friends. 

He is very passionate about his family and cherishes the time that he has with them. 

Dr. John has enjoyed practicing dentistry over the last fifteen years. Especially surgery and implants.

He has a unique way of making patients feel like they are his family with his kindness and caring nature.

E.F.O.D.A, E.F.D.A

April joined the Modern Smiles Dental team in March of 2013. 

April was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. She moved to Pocatello, Idaho in 2006. She has four children and two step children. She also has two grand babies! April graduated from Apollo College in 1996. specializing in Dental Assisting. She completed her expanded functions in Orthodontics and Dental Assisting. April also has her Sealant and X-ray Certification. With 25 plus years experience she enjoys all aspects of dental assisting & front office needs.

When asked what she enjoys the most about her position she says, 'The most enjoyable part of being a DA is relieving dental anxiety for my patients. But the most rewarding is when a patient tells me that we made a difference in their lives by making them able to smile again!'

April has the unique ability to calm patients anxiety with her presence. April goes above and beyond and it shows in her work. She makes coming to the dental office an enjoyable experience with her loving and caring nature by treating patients like family. In her spare time she also enjoys being a Landlord, real-estate investing, golfing, the gym, hunting & modeling. She also stays busy running a non profit group called Corbin's angels for histiocytosis that helps children with cancer. 

C.D.A

Ashley was born and raised in Pocatello, Idaho. She received her Dental Assisting Certificate in 2009 but continued her career in the medical field for 9 years. For six years she was the Front Office lead. In 2019 she was ready to move back into the dental field. Ashley began as a dental assistant worked in office management only to return to her passion of doing chairside assisting. She loves the dental field and looks forward to many more years of interacting with the patients and the dental team.

Ashley has been with her husband for seven years. They have four children, three girls, one boy, and five dogs. She loves animals and hopes to have a rescue animal shelter one day. In her spare time, She loves spending time with her family, watching her kids play sports. She also loves spending time outdoors.

Kelly Schneider, RDH

A graduate of Idaho State University.  After receiving my Dental Hygiene Degree in 1995, my husband and I relocated to McCall, where we spent the next 22 years enjoying our professions and the great outdoors that the area had to offer.  We recently moved back to South East Idaho to be near family.  I love getting to know our patients and helping people with their Dental needs. Anytime we make a little difference for someones Dental Health, it makes a big difference to us.

Becky was born and raised in Pocatello, Idaho.

She has a blended family of 8 children with her husband, Jeff. She also has 7 grandkids!  She enjoys skiing in the winter and road biking in the summer. She loves traveling the world with her husband, Jeff.

Becky has been in the dental field since 1998. She has experience working in the front office and the back office. We love how passionate she is about giving quality and thorough patient care with her sweet disposition makes patients feel at home. We are so happy to have Becky apart of our dental family for years to come!

Debi is one of our front office receptionists. We are so incredibly grateful to have her in our dental office family!
